Post 5: Changes to the study program

Image
I am currently studying psychology, and I think it is a very interesting degree based on the topics covered in the career curriculum. My favorite subject of this semester is neurophysiology because it is interesting and the teaching method is amazing and very dynamic. On the other hand, I can say that there is a diversity of subjects that we have to study like neuroscience, legal psychology, philosophy and even statistics!  I would not make a lot of changes to the curriculum just because I find that it is a very integral point of view about psychology. In terms of buildings and infrastructure I think that the faculty of social sciences is actually good because it has water dispensers, a rooftop terrace, a good library and the classrooms are well equipped.  The teaching methods in psychology are very diverse, for example, in social related courses the dynamic of the class is on the discussion and participation, and in courses like statistics the class is more about solving exercises i

Post 4: Time travel

Image
Interstellar a movie about time and space travel.   I think that time is one of the most invaluable things of our existence, because it has been the eternal witness of everything.  If I could travel in time, I would not like to go to the future because I find that it is kind of sad to acknowledge that time is passing by. I prefer to live in the ignorance of the present for today.  So, I would definitely go to the past, any time is good for me because if we talk about past times there is so much history to know. It would be a dream to travel back in time to the greatest period of time for the art, the renaissance.  I would like to stay in the renaissance for just a few months, and even though I most probably die in that time, I stay to experience the creative process and the revolution of the thought. Another time that I would like to go is not a time but a civilization. I am talking about ancient Egypt, and I want to travel to this time for the only reason that I also adore cats. I bel

Post 3: My future

Sylvia Plath once said "I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want... And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I 'm  horribly limited." And I 'm  haunted by that phrase. The truth is that I actually don't know what I want to do in life or who I am going to become. For me, to define is to limit, so I don't limit everything that one day I could be. I'm majoring in Psychology and I really like my career. I hope someday I will be able to work in my profession, I also hope it will not be the only thing I do in my life. Anyways, talking in terms of future jobs I would love to be a winemaker eve n though I don 't like wine at all. I find the process of making wine very magical and my grandfather made wine so it brings back beautiful memories. I would like to be an artist too, and I think I will. To en

Post 2: Best Concert

Image
Talking about concerts, I must say that my dream is to go to a "Los Jaivas" concert. However, the concert that i'm going to share with you today is when me and my best friends went to see Duki, an Argentinian artist. I know that he became famous for his rap battles, and my favorite song from him is "Vapormax". The concert took place in the Movistar arena last year on September 10, there were a lot of young people and the atmosphere was very chaotic at first, but then it was very lit and fun. I remember that at this concert Duki brought on the stage some national urban artists like Young Cister, AK-420 and the one and only Pablo Chill-E, and when it was time for one of them to go on stage i could feel the euphoria of the crowd. But by far the best memory i have from this concert is going with my besties Daniela and Krystell, that made the experience a hundred times better.

Post 1: A country i'd like to visit

Image
If I have the chance to travel I would go to the Netherlands. I would like to visit this country because it has the museum of one of my biggest inspirations and my all time favorite painter, the Van Gogh museum. I know that this country is famous for its flowers and the city Amsterdam which is very free, bohemian, beautiful, modern and old at the same time. I would like to visit the cheese museum. I also would like to learn how to ride a bike because in this country there are more bikes than people. Another thing i would like to do is to take a boat ride on the canals of Amsterdam, and fun fact, Amsterdam has more canals than Venice. Finally, in the future I would like to live for a while in the Netherlands, where I would study, read, paint or just walk the streets and maybe... someday I would pass by the same places that Van Gogh and Rembrandt passed by in their time.
